| U 564: A Royal Navy diver discovered these photographs of U 564 in Brest in 1944, kept them and later gave them to a little boy who retrieved them from his attic some months ago. The photos were published by the Daily Mail in 2001. |

| U 1165: Josef Hener, engineer onboard of U 1165, constructed this model ship during his time as PoW in Great Britain mainly by cans (Baked beans). After his return to Germany in November 1947 he added some details to the model as the small guns. |  |
